Wife to my husband of 19 years and counting. I’m the cool mom, in my own mind.  I’m the mom kids love having around, well maybe it’s just when I have cookies but still. No, but seriously I love my two kids.  They are truly my best work, okay so I had a little help from my husband but I did all the hard parts.

What else, let’s see…I’ve always enjoyed writing.  I can remember writing poetry ever since I was 11 years old.  As an adult I have written and illustrated a children’s book titled “Bedtime for Meaghan”which was published in 2008. bedtime for meaghan

I also have a published story titled “Treasures of the Heart” in the book “New Life Within” as a contributing author.

In the midst of my sometimes chaotic world I often run out of gas and find that I need a mental break.  I found my solace in trusting Jesus.  On those extra hard days I still trust Him however I tend to cry on His shoulder nonetheless.

I’m real. I’m true. I’m a daughter, wife, friend and mom. I love sharing God’s word and what’s going on in my imperfect heart, my world and on occasion my crazy thoughts.

Whilst writing I hope to share trials, adventures, queries, quirks and maybe some tips here and there in the hopes of having something you’d like or need each time you come to visit.

If your days are anything like mine or you just need a quiet spell to regain some strength please join me if only for a moment so we can take some well-earned Time2Refuel.
